In the words of Danny Beck... Hello Friends, and welcome to my blog. I am watching Blood Diamond on the Sleuth Channel (I didn't even know that was a channel until today) and I can't help but wish I had a South African accent.
I am only a short 8 weeks from being a father, that's right my wife is pregnant with what is currently a 4 lb. 2 oz. baby girl named Harper Belle Lawson. So naturally I decided yesterday to go buy a skateboard. Only a few short years ago I was able to drop in a mini ramp and easily skate around a skate park, however yesterday I realized that skateboarding is a little sketchy and not something you can stop doing for a few years and jump right back into. I would compare it to golf, it takes a lot of practice to stay decent. So I have a $25 skateboard and no skills. But stay tuned I hope to post some videos of me dropping in soon.
